Welcome to the CTWUG website, CTWUG is a Cape Town site geared towards community based wireless networking.

CTWUG stands for Cape Town Wireless User Group and is a non profit community, our aim is to promote the use and understanding of 802.11a/b/g wireless equipment to build a city wide free wireless network for anybody to use.

All equipment is standard wifi equipment, operating under 802.11 standards which makes it affordable to anyone. Joining and setting up your node is more a learning experience than a chance to leech files or game, you will learn a lot...

What are you waiting for? Go register at our wIND portal to see who is closest to you and follow the getting started guide to get connected.
