Hi guys, been hosting cod4 now for a couple of years.... and for some reason it's died down tremendously. I'd like to know if the guys would be interested to play cod4 still if I add some new maps, or if I can shut the server down permanently. It's costing me space and power to keep it running, and if not used I can give the pc to my parents.

No email from OpenID (Please setup your Profile on OpenID)

Start with the assumption that I'm a stupid newbie.

I created an openid account as per the instructions on the wiki page. When I enter my username on the 'wind' login page it takes me to a page for entering my openid password and then I get back to the wind page with a message indicating 'login error' and 'No email from OpenID (Please setup your Profile on OpenID)'.

Clicking on the register link on the left just takes me to the wiki. My openid profile does have an email address configured and I even created a second openid profile also with an email address.

If all this openid stuff and string of registrations is there to weed out the uninformed, it's working.

Can anybody help?

International Coastal Cleanup - 18 September

Dear All

It all began in 1986 with one woman in Texas who felt compelled to do something about the litter at her local beaches. Teaming up with like-minded people, she organized a beach cleanup. In just 2 hours, 2 800 volunteers had picked up 124 tons of trash along 122 miles of coastline.

During this amazing event each September, hundreds of thousands of volunteers from countries all over the world spend a few hours picking up everything from cigarette butts and food wrappers to lost fishing nets and major appliances. Because trash travels to the ocean by way of storm drains and waterways, people don’t just work along ocean beaches; they also slog through mud and sand along lakes, streams, and rivers.
Most people walk, others set out on boats picking up floating debris and even more put on their scuba gear to pick up trash below the waters’ surface.
People of all ages, from any walk of life, participate. Friends, families, clubs, grade school classes—all kinds of people turn out on the day to work together.
We’ll from 09:00 to 11:00 this year the event will be taking place on Saturday 18th September.

This said, would anyone like to get involved this year to help pick up some litter and make a difference?

Please post your names those who are interested can then come together and decide which beach. Bring the kids and make this a CTWUG FUN family day out.

Mars Parow Sector 2 down

It looks like there is something wrong with the Parow Sector2 at Mars.

We will check to see if a reboot helps, if not someone will have to go up to Mars and swap out the radio.

I`m really interested into joining the CTWUG group. But i`m not sure what must be done to be connected. Can you please assist me in this matter. I see you must book the test kit as well. With who do I do this as I don`t know how this work and would require someone to assist me with this.
I stay in Protea Heights, Brackenfell.
So please if possible any info on how to join step by step and how to get the test kit and to buy the stuff that's required will be appreciated.
Want to get this up and running asap.
