I have a budget bracket. Anybody know where I can pick up a decent bracket with a bigger hole in the Northern suburbs?

brackets should not have holes, they should have tabs for putting u-bolts through, ( I think I know what bracket you have there, the tv aerial type, don't use it, they flex and you'll be sorry in a couple of months, Brights and that sort of store have tripod brackets, so does scoop afaik.

Try them
If all else fails, use KY Jelly.

If your pole is to thick for the hole is not really CTWUG's problem, but more something beween you and your wife/girlfriend. If the bracket was to small for the pole i would sugest go to scoop and get a heavy duty bracket or get an custom one made.

Graig weet jy darem hoe om daai paal in die gat tekry en daarna die regte verstellings te maak vir die meeste plesier?

P.S. Andermanne met kleiner pale force die goed gewoonlik net in die gat in
