Hey all,

I'm due to get a 433 in the next month, but in the mean time I'm still using my 133C...

At the moment it is running my link to the wug, DHCP server, DNS, and 1 firewall rule. It handles this fine. Winbox is noteably slower to respond since I setup DHCP and DNS on it, but it's still fine.

The problems come when I enable the PPP package. It gets really slow. I can dial a PPPOE connection, setup a NAT rule, but as soon as I try and use the terminal to input routes for a local only connection it just stalls. I also start experiencing random "router has been disconnected" messages in winbox with the PPP package enabled.

Is there any way to take some stress off this poor 133C before I get my 433? What most of the packages on the router are disabled... I don't have a list of what's enabled at the moment, but I can get that later.

Thanks
Mark

if you unplug the network cable it will run a lot better.
