I'm busy setting up a point to point wireless link in Plumstead, but I am willing to open up the network for others. (Just need a different antenna :? )

So if anyone can pick up my SSID (G01B02), let me know, I'm keen to make it an open WLAN

AP: NetGear DG834GT (ADSL Router and Wireless)
Client: NetGear WG311T, connecting from down the road

Shrdlu, Steurhof will be a problem for me as I have huge blocks of flats blocking any line of sight I would of had!

I have two or three firndws in PLumbstead that would be interested in joing your AP. One on either side and one in the middle.
One lives at the diep river end of steurhof and the other at the wynberg end of plumbstead, Stella road.
Also have a friend in holmdene road, right by dick burton just off victoria road.
If any of this helps you can give me a shout.
