Why would you want to add omni and sector to one pole?

Why would someone add a omni antenna and a sector to one pole? Like in http://gallery.ctwug.za.net/main.php?g2_itemId=395. I think the differance is that omni give 360 and sector olny 90 or 180. So why?

Maybe he uses the omni for his inhouse devices?

Or the secor could be 5.8 and the omni 2.4 and he just had it lying around so why not use it.

also use the omni as a directional device, make it easier to pin point remotely, would also assist with deciding in which direction to add more sectors etc.

Another option: Get a few guys close to you connected to the omni, once enough are online you start panel to panel meshing with them and take down the omni.

Move omni to new area to get those people connected. Rinse and repeat.
