View Full Version : 24dbi 5GHz grid to swap for 31dbi
Hi lads,
It seems that I just cannot get LOS to Uranus from my place, so I'm going to have to go with Jupiter, Pluto or Mercury.
They are all a sizable distance away so I'm going to need to upgrade to a 31dbi. My 24dbi is less than 3 weeks old and it hasn't even been connected to a network yet!
So you are getting an as new 24dbi grid, which I'd love to swap for a 31 :) :)
Thanks
Mark
Hey MKV
You should still pick the others up on your 24db when you do a scan....do you get them at all?
You are in the same line with myself and Pluto, but on the wrong side of the hospital.
Ya, I get them.
But only get them with max -80 (on Jupiter)
Gonna need the 31!
ah, ok.
Strange that you would get Pluto and not me, maybe i am just too low.

10m pole maybe? :D
lol, i already have a 6m pole on top of 2nd floor unit......pretty soon wug is gonna get a letter from aviation guys, telling us to put flashing lights on our poles.
Didn't we connect you to pluto last week??
yup we did, but i was supposed to go to uranis, but cant see it.
Shout if u still want to do a swop. I have a 31db grid that i could swop. The 31db just takes to much space on my pole, so i'd like to tone that down a bit. Would like to do a speed test beforehand though, to make sure i dont lose to much signal

Yes please, We need a 31 here! The 24 just doesn't cut it.
How far are you from what your 31 currently connects to?
