Can anyone refer me to a site where I can learn how wireless networks work and are setup and how to use them. I have some basic knowledge, but want more.

www.ctwug.za.net, chat with the guys on the ctwug irc and join us for site installs. Site installs are probably the best way to learn. Just come prepared with a load of questions.

All CTWUG HS routers have read only accounts for wuggers, a very good place to poke around and learn how to setup a router on a HS, then you can compare it to your home router and start figuring out the difference between the two.
