Atheros CM9 on Acer laptop

I finally took the crap Intel mini-pci card out of my Acer and fitted a Wistron CM9. Works great. Much better receive sensitivity and range is awesome, with much better config tools. And I have 5.8 GHz support now.

I will let the forum know just what range I get, but I expect better than 1.5KM with the built in antenna.

went that route a couple of months ago and boy oh boy that atheros rocks - do yourself a favour: go stand on "loverslane" with a biquad - it's unbelievable
