12dbi Omni Antenna 2.4GHz

I r having a omni antenna on me roof at home. My home isn't very big but my omni doesn't seem to cover it even when I r closer to it - the signal is extremely weak. Any ideas what could be causing this?

The Fact that your omni is on the roof, might make your home (directly below it) the dead spot. To play around, put your omni somewhere lower, you can come borrow my spare RB sometime to play with. Remember omnis cover 360 degrees around the antenna, but not above or below it.

Can't agree more with TheFox, I have the same omni as you and have the same problem, get yourself a smaller one and use that one to organize the coals in your next fire.

I found out what the problem was. My CM9 is faulty for my omni - I have taken it back to Scoop but they say it is going to take 2 months to get back because they must send it overseas????
