Southern Suburbs.

Hi Guys.

I want to set up a test HS in the Southern Suburbs. I live in a flat on the 6th floor of our building so I have decent LOS.

First things first: Our body corporate is against antennas of any kind being mounted on the balcony or walkway. Secondly I rent my flat so I cannot drill any holes or so.

Now until we get permission to set up at the military hospital I want to try and set up a test HS.

I have a north facing balcony and a south facing window. I will find a way to hide a grid on my balcony that points to Mars. Then I can run a cable to the other side of my flat and set up a sector antenna in my window. What I want to see is how well this setup can work.

Adamiax, Happydaddy and other SS guys should be able to connect to this sector.

I know that with the correct kit I can connect to Mars. What I do not know is if any other SS ppl will be able to connect to a sector antenna in my window.

If anybody has hardware that we can use to test this setup please let me know.

Hello every one! Long time no C,

I eventually got the APPROVAL for the High Site in Wynberg, Location: 34° 0'23.02"S 18°27'20.81"E,

I am willing to donate RB433 or R1000 towards this project. I hope there are more people from Wynberg/Plumstead/Diepriver etc. that can donate towrds this dream.
