I would really appreciate it if anybody could assist me as I have searched all over the net for a solution to my query and can not find a solution.

I have two seperate wired networks each consisting of 3 of PCs that are connected in a workgroup via a network router. Each router inturn connects to its own DSL connection via a Mega 100WR router. I would like to connect these two networks wireless using the Mega 100WR access points as i am unable to use cable between the two networks. Can I configure the two Mega 100WR routers to see each other and link the two wired networks. If so could you give me a step by step explanation of how to do this. If this is not possible, what would I need to be able to do this? I have read that the access points must be set to bridged mode and I have done this but dont know how to go further. How do I get the two AP two see each other.

Keep the one as an AP, and the other as a client to the AP.

After reading through the manual of that router, the router can only be in ap mode or wifi switched off. There is no way to connect those routers to each other (except with LAN cable). If you need both routers to be AP's serving clients, look at getting 2x wrt54gl's which can be linked via WDS while being AP for clients. soz bud....

Maybe there are another solution, get two RB133 with 2 radios in each, one radio on each RB to connect the users to WiFi and the other radio to connect the routers, you can even add a third radio and join the wug.

At present i'm not using the wifi for these two routers as they computers connected to them are connected via cable.Does this make a difference to get them to see each other or does that not make any difference

Wonder if you ever got this sorted. There is new firmware that you can download for the Mega 100WR-2. This gives you some nice extras that you could not do before like WDS which will allow you to set them up to see each other.
