Hey, I've got a gigabyte router that seems to be dead (Power). I recently saw (while checking out openwrt for my WRT54GL that it supports OpenWRT so I took it to rectron, knowing that it was out of warranty when I took it, but they normally help you out, but they just tried to plug it in, which didn't work...

Now there's a mini-PCI (if I'm correct here) wireless card inside. Can I use it for something? :)

yes, u could use the mini-PCI in ur laptop (if u have one with mini-PCI slot) or get a PCI converter http://www.scoopdistribution.co.za/product_info.php?cPath=34&products_id=270 or if ur lucky it could be supported by mikrotik
