Hi-Site Hijackers ???????

Somebody put Equipment on TG2 apparently without permission and damaged some of my equipment, please contact me as i would like to sort this out without geting the authourities involved. It just goes so much quicker that way. The equipment will be removed today by the hi-site owners and steps will be taken further to that. So in the interests of an open wireless comunity lets get together and sort this out in a friendly way please :)

This is not on. andrefourie take it further, no need to be nice!!! Sell the hardware to cover the costs of repair to your hardware and a couple of nice bottles of brandy!!

If this happened in Joburg, we would tie the culprits behind an unroadworthy taxi, and drag them down the N1 all the way from Grasmere Toll Plaza to Pretoria... Don't let them get away with it.... Perhaps disconnect "their" equipment and stake the place out until they come to investigate, then jump out the bushes and bliksem the bastards.

Surely there should have been some sort of security in place on the tower to prevent people from going up there without the high-site owners permission?
If anything, the tower owner should be held responsible, and THEN you go after the culprits.

Post some pics of the equipment here.. I'm sure someone here will be able to identify it.

Well I think you should definitely keep the equipment... Sell it or do whatever you want with it... Surely your highsite should be better protected though, what's to stop someone walking away with your equipment?

there is an alarm at the Hi-site hut but the mast it quite accessable, you do have to cross a farm to get there though. the hut is also lock with locks and the key given to you when you rent space on the site but everyone who has a key says that they did not put any new equipment up :? So... either somebody got a key from somebody else or one of the other tennants are lieing ~:(

surely they must have got power for it so some1 with a key must be responsible? unless they hijacked power from somewhere too.
