Brackenfell de Bron behind the Cape Gate Tradecentre HS

Hello,

Just to say hi to everybody in the area and keeping hopes up of becomming a more active and involved member and hopefully contribute to the nework based on my location. But first is the mundane tast of getting connected. Apologies for those Admins that I have been spamming but we all have to go through the learning curve sometime.

Currently I have NO connection since finally purchasing some wug equipment last week and having hopes up on getting access over the past weekend - as I understand the Kingpin station will be taken down eventually and this would have been a perfect HS to connect to however being new im not sure on the current state and changes planned for the Brackenfell area.

This afternoon im having plans to get up on the roof and moving all the equipment to the otherside of the house giving a +- 180deg LOS to myself and possibly more and planning on raising the grid and hopefully i`ll be picking up a node that I can connect to.

Once the site and connection is up i`ll post some directional pics on my node page and it can then be discussed if the HS can be more effective used as a HS as im pretty high up on that side of the hill..

but... more after I have been on the root a little later!! chow.

Stoffel - ek sal nou nou op die IRC klim net gou bietjie mal besig het nog nie reg gekom nie nee gaan maar my equipment na die anderkand van die huis se dak skuif en verder van daaraf toets.

Eks nou so bietjie raad op jong lykmy ek kry net nie konneksie na die WUG toe nie - Kingpin = Vol, Saturn = Vol kan nie vir Buzz optel nie want 2 huise voor my is te hoog, my paal is tans 7 Meter maar ek het nog n 4 meter stuk wat in die tuin rondle so as ek nou nie regkom met saturn nie dan gaan ek maar die paal n verdere 4m verleng om te probeer LOS op Buzz.

Elkgeval.. Stuur my jou epos adres dan kan ek vir jou pics stuur van hoe die setup lyk.. Sover is die WUG maarnet vir my n paal met stuff op dit werk nog nie T_T het gedink om dit maar vir WISP te gebruik as nie regkom nie.
