HD movie and sound

Hi guys.

Could some please tell me if it is possible to run movies with sound from pc to plazma via HD cable.

I can play my movies but i heard you can play the sound as well via the HD cable.

I think, only if your video card supports it.

If your gfx card has hdmi out you will have to connect an internal audio cable from the motherboard to the gfx card too.

I might be a bit behind times, but only the ATi cards had that function. Not sure if Nvidia have them now as well.
An option could be to get yourself some PC spekers and use that, or get a pin to RCA convertor cable and use that on your HiFi amp.
