Wifi software/signal strength proggy

Hi anybody got or know where i can get a program that lets me gauge fast the signal strength of a signal?

I hate sitting there.

Adjusting antenna.
Go to laptop.
f5.....wait.....oh 1% signal fewk.

adjust
go to laptop
f5.......-100%.....hmmm

Depends on your hardware i guess. If you have wrt you can use openwrt with kismet. On a laptop you can use netstumbler for windows or kismet for linux.
