Sales Consultant (Mid Market Sales) X3 (Reward Level 16)
Key Responsibilities
• To be aggressively involved in hunting for new business within allocated geographic region
• To maintain customer relationships once account has been acquired with a view to growing the service and revenue base
• To achieve set targets for new customer engagements (cold calling and securing sales pitch appointments)
• To achieve targeted monthly order and billing quotas
• To ensure that client engagements are performed within the standards laid down by management
• To ensure that all product knowledge is kept up to date and applied to customer requirements with a view to securing orders and revenue
• To ensure that customer relationships are developed and maintained at all levels of the client organization
• To be involved in ensuring that customer orders are always monitored to ensure delivery and billing are achieved within the shortest possible timelines (This will require developing relationships with other departments at Neotel)
• To ensure that all reporting requirements from management are provided in a timely and accurate manner
• To support other activities that may be assigned from time to time to ensure the growth and success of Neotel sales
• To always adopt an attitude of doing whatever has to be done to honor a customer commitment and grow Neotel’s business

Skills
• Grade 12
• Business qualification would be a definitive advantage.
• Strong communication skills covering both written and spoken English as well as presentation skills
• Strong computer application skills covering Microsoft Office products and other software applications
• A “can do” attitude and willingness to get involved in all areas of the organisation that requires intervention to meet set sales targets and business objectives

Experience
• At-least 3 to 5 years first hand exposure to sales within the ICT sector.
• Previous experience within the sales environment of an ISP or Telco would be an added advantage.
• Clear understanding of the telecommunications industry together with product offerings in the South African market

I am in dilemma whether to do MBA or MPA (master of professional accounting). I want to get a PR once I complete either of these courses. Are there any other business courses to get a PR.
